Like most people, I made a few new years resolutions. How are you doing with your goals? I spoke about my goals for 2018 in a previous post. So far, I’m happy to report that I’m doing well! I’ve been going to the gym 3 times a week for the past 2 weeks and I feel myself getting stronger and faster. I’ve also significantly scaled back my spending to increase my savings. The secret to my success? Using a planner! My planner helps me keep track of my spending and schedule my gym sessions as non-cancellable meetings so I am able to achieve my goals this year. To help start the year off on the right track, I’ve rounded up some of the top planners for a productive 2018!
There are so many different types of planners out there. I like to use a planner with a monthly view and a weekly view. I use the monthly view to write what days my kids are with the babysitter (since I pay per day, per child) and when I go to the gym. I use the weekly view to track my work meetings, work events, and my “to-do” list. I analyze what is going on each week to plan what days I am going to go to the gym to satisfy my goal of going to the gym 3 days a week.
To make organization and planning fun, you can use colorful stickers, highlighters, pens, and washi tape for different events such as appointments, meetings, work events, and kids’ activities. My top 10 planners come in various sizes and with many different features so I can help you find a planner that will help you hit your goals!
